<text>I joined British rock band Delta Sleep on their USA tour, travelling for over 9000 miles across nineteen states. I went from Brooklyn to San Diego and everywhere in between. Watching the beautiful vast landscape through the windows of our eight-seater van. This was where we spent most of our days.

By the time we hit each venue, I would already be so exhausted, the lack of sleep and junk food. I would want to crawl under a blanket. But once they started playing, without fail, I would get an adrenaline rush. The mosh pit would start, legs flying in the air as someone crowd surfed their way to the front, diving back into the audience as if they were jumping off a rock into the ocean. They were there for the band, and in that moment, the fans had no care in the world.

It is is a strange feeling going on tour with a band. Every kind of emotion is thrown at you. You spend every waking hour with the same group of people, traveling around the gigantic landscape, primarily looking out of the windows of the van; observing, waiting, thinking. There is a certain calmness, but by the evening everything changes, you are surrounded by lots of people, the energy is wild, and you must adapt. We shared bedrooms to cut costs. There is no time to let your head breathe. finding your own form of meditation is important to help you keep going. Trying to stay sane.

This project explores life on tour, from the long drives, lack of sleep and waiting around, to the sudden burst of energy, excitement, and action. I wanted to capture the different emotions you are faced with. This is more about the journey than the live event itself. A constant ever-changing landscape with a never changing routine. Always moving.
