‘Looking For Utopia’ is a project in which I have begun to process the complex and intersectional issues of capitalism and the subsequent climate emergency. The systems of capitalism, greed, exploitation and the people taking dangerous advantage of it need to be challenged and held accountable for any hope of a sustainable and enjoyable future.
In response to this, I have been exploring the idea of utopia and what this means for me on a personal level as well as at a wider scale – something with a gentle existence, reconnected to each other and nature.
