Description
Pastel-coloured buildings, the scent of rum-based cocktails, vintage American cars, horse-drawn vehicles, the chance to see real cowboys. These were some of my impressions from a 16 day trip to Cuba, centred around the 2016-2017 new year, where I visited some of the cities in the western part of the island. From Havana to Viñales, Playa Larga, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Varadero, and back to Havana again, shown here is my snapshot of this colourful, historical and fascinating country.
