Title
Places of Particles
Description
This zine is the printed result of my photo project called "Places of Particles".
I spend 7 years working as a researcher in Particle Physics, first as a PhD student and then as a postdoctoral researcher. During this time, I visited and worked in several laboratories throughout Europe and made connections with many colleagues.
At the same time, I spend these years feeling extremely anxious due to the lack of job security and the lack of stability was always at the back of my mind.
I started photographing the laboratories, the places that were familiar to me. Documenting my journey was a way to deal with the anxiousness and create permanent memories.
"Places of Particles" is the result of this process, the collection of all the buildings I briefly inhabited and pictures of items that used to be trivial but are now precious memories.
