The Fourth Man - Prater: Vienna’s Funfair

Title

The Fourth Man - Prater: Vienna’s Funfair

Description

One of Vienna’s most popular attractions is Prater, a funfair dating as far back as 1766. It is home to the Wiener Riesenrad, the Ferris wheel featured in 1949 film noir ‘The Third Man’. A mixture of new and older rides, food stands, beer halls and other attractions, it’s a popular place for locals and tourists to gather for a dose of fun.

Prater appeals to me greatly as it’s colourful, provides a huge variety of lettered signs (which Vienna does so well) and, if you go at the right time, the light interacts with buildings and statues there in a beautiful way. ‘The Fourth Man - Prater: Vienna’s Funfair’ collects together many of my favourite photos taken here.
