A fragmented diary of photographs made after a period of becoming disillusioned with photography projects. Rather than focusing on one subject or theme, the images have a loose, associative relationship - with snapshots alongside wet plate collodion photographs. They present a bid for freedom and propose a deliberate departure from the descriptive, introducing a more instinctive approach, whether at the moment of capture or through the developing and selection process.
