Description
At the beginning of 2018, I boarded a small motorboat and crossed the dark waters of the River Tigris, leaving behind Iraq and landing in Rojava, in Northeast Syria.
"Across the Tigris" is a diary of the two years I spent there, and a tribute to the people I met.
This is not a war reportage, but a story of bravery, resistance and recovery.
