Description

Love at last sight is a book that combines dance and photography. The project originates from the vision of several people to the question: what is your image of a happy relationship? The answers, recorded in words in the book, are uniquely easy to visualize. What the author pictured instead was the very opposite. With the help of two dancers, two children, and an elaborated mise-en-scène, she staged the less desired side of romantic relationships.
The performers of these choreography are the dancers Pedro Mendes and Sandra Rosado and the two children, Mariana Mendes and Francisco Miranda. The choreographer and dancer Teresa Simas determined the sequence of the images, obeying a choreographic order.
Following a holistic approach to her projects, the author created each stage of the process.
