"I never thought I would have much connection with the area of Nottingham in which I currently live. Being one of the more affluent suburbs of a big city, I initially dismissed it as a bland and lifeless place, without the same character as the rough council estates I grew up on. But without exploring, who knows what secrets a place hides? In 2020 the lockdowns thrust the time upon me to use or lose - so with many months confined here, I took my bike and camera up every street and through every green space to discover the character of West Bridgford."
