Description

Following my Father's death in 2017 I started to photograph his things, in part to keep hold of him and in part to allow me to let go of his possessions. Over the following nine months I photographed everything he had, spending days at a time in his home. Everything he owned was carefully carried in my hands to my make shift studio, photographed and then put back in place.
This book is a selection from the 9,000+ images documenting death, a life well lived, collections, design and history. It creates a portrait of the man and asks what things do we keep?. My Dad was a writer, artist poet and memoirist among other things and the pages reflect all aspects of his life.
