RGB Zine No.01
Dublin Core
Title
RGB Zine No.01
Subject
Landscape - Urban
Description
A single-day visual study tracking the deliberate use of colour along Blackpool seafront to attract the attention of British holidaymakers. Rather than celebrating seaside nostalgia, the photographs catalogue the physical structures. From arcade facades to promenade railings, designed to artificialise optimism against a characteristically wild Irish Sea.
By focusing on the structural intersections of primary reds, greens, and blues, the series isolates the spatial tension between functional coastal infrastructure and the deliberate visual stimuli engineered to distract the masses.
