Description

When one of our fore-bearers chose to sit on a log, instead of the ground, it's time had come. The moment that log was moved to get a better view, into the shade, or away from an ant's nest the bench had been invented.

Spend £5,000 on an Eames sofa, put a plank across two crates, you end up with the same thing. Defined by the distance from the back of the knee to the ground (pretty much), it's length is immaterial.

Ubiquity thy name is bench.
