Title

Analogue Photographs and Hand Poked Tattoos - Volume Two

Subject

Portraiture

Description

This is travelling photographer and hand poke tattoo artist Simon Martner’s second photography book.

Twice as thick as Volume One, it features 120 pages full of Simon Martner’s original drawings and hand poke tattoo work. You will also see rolls and rolls of 35mm film photographed by Simon during the same time period, all with his 1970’s Pentax that he bought as a teenager and has used ever since.

In this book you get to see Simon tattooing an endangered eel on a Greenpeace activist outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a snowy Stockholm, until the police steps in. And a mistaken identity leads to a hairy situation after a photo shoot in Downtown Beirut.
