“Tokimeki” is a word Japanese expression that describes a sense of emotional bliss.
When you feel warmth in your heart, a natural smile appears on your face.It is whatever moves you to feel happiness.
Tokimeki feels like a “POPPIN’ HEART”.

“Just around the corner”
The view you see just around the corner.
It may have been "Usual" to the people living there, but it was "Unusual" to me.
And it was a very exciting moment to me.
Since 2010, I have been traveling around the world, mainly in Europe and Oceania,
with a compact film camera made by Lomography, a company that originated in Russia.
My motto is "Don't think, just shoot!"
I shoot the scenery I encounter while I’m walking and the people I meet on the streets.
I have been capturing “Tokimeki" moment on film.
My journey that has continued since 2010 had to stop once during the covid-19 pandemic,
I was looking back at the huge number of photos I had taken.
The world is beautiful, The world is full of humor, The world is kind
May the cycle of “Tokimeki” spread throughout the world and transcend borders.
