<text>“Tokimeki” is a word Japanese expression that describes a sense of emotional bliss.
When you feel warmth in your heart, a natural smile appears on your face.It is whatever moves you to feel happiness.
Tokimeki feels like a “POPPIN’ HEART”.

i do is “Tokimeki” moment from 2010 to 2024

“Just around the corner”
The view you see just around the corner.
It may have been "Usual" to the people living there, but it was "Unusual" to me.
And it was a very exciting moment to me.

Since 2010, I have been traveling around the world, mainly in Europe and Oceania,
with a compact film camera made by Lomography, a company that originated in Russia.
My motto is "Don't think, just shoot!"
I shoot the scenery I encounter while I’m walking and the people I meet on the streets.
I have been capturing “Tokimeki" moment on film.

My journey that has continued since 2010 had to stop once during the covid-19 pandemic,
I was looking back at the huge number of photos I had taken.

The world is beautiful, The world is full of humor, The world is kind
May the cycle of “Tokimeki” spread throughout the world and transcend borders.

<text>‘I Dream of a Timeless Utopia’ is project exploring a personal search for a world where time doesn’t exist
- a vision of utopia within a dystopia, where what the photographer longs for will always remain out of reach.

Through photography, handwritten fragments, and delicate details, the work reflects on the impossibility of
preserving a person, a moment, or a feeling, as time inevitably moves forward. This realisation causes the
narrative to unfold like a vivid dream - unruly, chaotic, and saturated with emotion and longing.

A subtle power dynamic emerges as the narrative shifts, between the photographer and time itself, as the
camera becomes a tool of loud resistance - an attempt to hold onto fleeting moments and people as they
slip away beyond control, ultimately, seeking solace in the act of preservation.</text>

<text>I Heart EK celebrates the beauty of East Kilbride, Scotland’s first new town.

These photographs taken over 20 years capture the details that give East Kilbride its own personality - more colourful than you might imagine, with lots of green space, spiky churches and two front doors.

The book travels from the town centre to the outskirts, from civic buildings, to parks, residential areas and industrial estates. All of them noteworthy in their own way.

As the original Modernist details gradually get upgraded and eroded, I Heart EK sums up what a new way of living looked like at an optimistic time.

<text>I RAGAZZI is a large tabloid-format softcover which explores the various forms of masculinity displayed at the medieval horse race, il Palio di Siena, in Tuscany, while also capturing the event's unique beauty, chaos and drama. Deep-diving into the bizarre festival atmosphere which takes over Siena, the visual peculiarities of Palio will transport you back in time, and offer a glimpse of a place governed by ritual and tradition, that doesn’t feel the need to adhere to the same gender roles and norms as the rest of Western Europe.

The book covers the time from the beginning of each Palio week until the climactic race itself, including the batterie (trials) and the assigning of the horses, the prove (practice races) the benedizione (horse benedictions) and the corteo storico parade leading up to the final event.

“For all its contradictions, Palio exhibits so many positive values that most of the Western world has lost over the centuries: collective identity, continuity, ritual, and belonging. I encourage us to protect it and to learn from it.”</text>

<text>This book is a call to celebrate self awareness of one’s own body and the skin we live in, expressed through the improvised movement of two dancers.

“You should wear a bra. It’s more polite.” the lady behind the underwear stand said to me while I was browsing. It was an early morning a few years ago. I went to the local market with my mum, which is one of my favourite things to do when I am back home in Taichung, Taiwan.

Coming from Asia, which is relatively conservative about our bodies compared to Western culture, wearing bras is one of the unspoken social customs to follow otherwise you may be seen as promiscuous because you are exposing your body.

The feeling of shame about our bodies of course isn’t limited to my culture.

Taking the clothes off is a way of saying it’s time to put aside unrealistic expectations and also to celebrate self awareness of one’s body through movement and feeling comfortable within your own body.

“I think it’s time to take the clothes off.” Is what I said to Akti and Xristina, best friends and both dancers, when I photographed them on separate occasions.
