<text>FARMA is a post-human world where mankind is no more, but the lives of farm animals continue in a once-given rhythm. The cows continue to produce milk, fully dependent on the synthetic milkmaid tubes. The blind fish swim in circles against the perpetual, man made current. Wheat maintained its territory, with no one to rule over.

Are these gardens of Eden? Or the Apocalypse?

Humanity, seduced by the domesticated animals, has steadily managed to decrease the number of wildlife to only four percent of earth's biomass. Sixty-two percent are the species we prevent from becoming extinct, while making them incapable of living on their own.

The unlikely scenarios of the post-human ecosystems of Farma, are an attempt to imagine the worldwide catastrophe, through the eyes of other species. By limiting the narration to the remote and constrained perspective of the farm animals, we are exploring familiar notions, from a foreign point of view. The project consists of two closely intertwined parts: written publication with images 'genesis/ apocalypse' and a film installation 'eden, eden, eden'.

The text functions as a part of a double document - accompanied by a series of photographs, it becomes an inventory of the abandoned but prevailing habitat. The images which make up the other half of the publication, could be considered an alien perspective - the eye which sees them, does not raise organic tissue above the synthetic one. It does not choose living matter over the inanimate. It ceases to notice difference between living and the dead/ fiction and reality.</text>

<text>Back to Starting Point traces nearly four decades of photographic practice, bringing together works made between 1983 and 2020. Rather than a retrospective, it is a return to the origins of seeing—a reflection on how perception, place, and the photographic image have evolved through sustained observation. The publication reveals the continuity underlying different bodies of work, inviting viewers to reconsider photography as an ongoing process of discovery rather than a record of the visible world.</text>

<text>Mechanical Spring is the spring season of machinery, not just a piece of hardware. Threading through the city, industrial machines mistaken for installation art, and teenage indie music, I want to capture some scenes more underground than “underground.” I have always wanted to get closer to music. But even in the music venues in uk, as an audience, I’m still the one who leaves after the show. Even in these already peripheral indie scenes, there is still a sense of being unnoticed. I remain more marginal than the margins. My photos are all taken from the crowd, out of focus, too high iso, or too slow shutter speed, always unstable, blurred, and never able to get closer to the stage. There are too many talented people in this world. As a listener and even an Asian, I wonder if I should simply get used to this position? Sometimes I even imagine building a scene with my friends, something deeper than the underground, just jamming or making some noise together. So I’m always listening to music sorrowfully, at the same time enjoying it with a kind of bliss, envying those who are in the midst of creating it.</text>

I wanted to present a zine in the form of an album, a small photographic collection. For some reason that I forgot, it has ended up inverted. So the first half is B side and the second half is A side, leaving the front and back covers tucked away in the middle. It’s a temporary and incomplete universal set of blue, a collection of my small observations and the imaginations unfolding from the color over the past three years, a somewhat improper tribute to the music I like.</text>

<text>Brutalist architecture is divisive – its style is appreciated by many and disliked by many. Brutalist high-rise social housing projects were designed with progressive qualities in mind, but fell short of this goal, being known for fostering crime and for their poor design, construction and maintenance. This book will discuss the shortcomings of brutalist high-rise social housing, and how this paved the way for the design and success of the low-rise estate. This discussion is accompanied by infrared photography, which renders nature in a luminous white, allowing the relationship between housing and its environment to be seen – this being a key element to the success of the low-rise estate.</text>

<text>What freedoms and independence does the disabled concessionary bus pass truly afford people with disabilities? Photographer Dan Bowhay spent 10 Days, 19 hours, 33 minutes, and 15 seconds travelling the length of England, from Land’s End to the Scottish Border near Berwick-upon-Tweed, on local buses and within the restrictions of a disabled bus pass.

Bowhay’s photographs are a subversion of the work of classic road trip photographers, with him photographing primarily from the buses, his means of transportation, and not at the destinations themselves. These photographs differ substantially from the classic images of small English villages and picturesque natural landscapes that we are accustomed to seeing on tours of the country, and instead reflect a more realistic vision of England, seen through the scratches, dirt, and condensation on the windows of an ever-dwindling public transportation network.

The concessionary pass is intended to provide disabled travellers with the same freedom and independence as able-bodied people, but it falls short of this in many ways. Most controversially, the pass can only be used during off-peak times, a heavily criticised policy that “implies disabled people do not hold a place in the world of work, education settings, or in wider social activities, and dismisses their right to equal opportunities” (Whizz Kidz, 2023). With bus services constantly being cut, and with trains and coaches being excluded from the pass, fewer and fewer locations year-on-year actually remain accessible to travellers reliant on the pass.</text>

TREEs is a collection of trees photographed on film over the years.
Taken across different cities, seasons, and stages of life, these images document
the many forms and presences of trees, as well as the traces of time they carry.
For me, trees have always been a quiet and constant presence. Wherever they
are, they become part of the landscape around them, growing, changing, and
remaining in their own way.
TREEs is presented as a miniature keychain zine and comes with a set of tree
stickers. I hope these images can move beyond the page and become something
to carry with you — a small talisman from nature.</text>

<text>Cantera started in August 2024, when our landlord called to inform us that we needed to leave the apartment. Out of the blue, sometime in the months ahead, our family history would be wiped away from the house so that another could start in the same place. From that moment, I started to document the many things that had created an illusion of belonging and possession in a place that had never been ours: the paintings on the wall, the arrangement of furniture, the way the spaces are occupied, the emptiness of all elements as workers stripped the flooring.

Cantera aims to create a dialogue between the two predominant readings of the term household (readings that are mutually exclusive, opposed, and cannot be conceived in the presence of the other). The first reading views the house as property, as an asset for speculation and extraction. The second, the most familiar, conceives it in its purest definition as home and place we build to provide intimacy to a portion of the world where we soak up much of who we become.
