<text>“High Street Happenings” walks you through a series of candid encounters, revealing unrepeated movements of local people in and around the famous historic High Street of Rochester. The photographs, which were made over a 6 month period, between December 2020 and May 2021, give insight to a truly unique and unprecedented time. A time of change and great uncertainty after 9 months into the Covid-19 pandemic, as people began returning to the High Street once again, desperately clinging to some sort of normality. This colourful and characterful photo-book will draw out your interpretations, telling an everchanging story, whilst you take joy in studying the details from each expression, gesture and form. Sit down and slowly observe little pieces of life, in pictures, from the streets of Rochester.</text>

<text>Unseen is a collectable zine written and published periodically by photographer and writer Rachel Poulton. It is a photographic ode to nature (with some poems and essays thrown in) and a celebration of the of act of solitary walking.
Unseen is a mix of black and white analogue and digital images alongside words inspired by the wanderings of Romantic painters, philosophers and poets and the psychogeographical derive of the situationists; they walked in urban environments but I am applying the same sensory experiences to rural drifts. Each issue charts a mapless walk in places of special spiritual interest around the UK such as - the haunted and haunting ancient forest of Kingley Vale, The Longman of Wilmington and the notoriously spirited hilltop fort, Chanctonbury Ring.
Each walk is a sensory experience taking in the historical, topographical and psycho-spiritual ambiences; the unseen appears as essential as that which is seen.

<text>One of Vienna’s most popular attractions is Prater, a funfair dating as far back as 1766. It is home to the Wiener Riesenrad, the Ferris wheel featured in 1949 film noir ‘The Third Man’. A mixture of new and older rides, food stands, beer halls and other attractions, it’s a popular place for locals and tourists to gather for a dose of fun.

Prater appeals to me greatly as it’s colourful, provides a huge variety of lettered signs (which Vienna does so well) and, if you go at the right time, the light interacts with buildings and statues there in a beautiful way. ‘The Fourth Man - Prater: Vienna’s Funfair’ collects together many of my favourite photos taken here.</text>

We are three siblings, with different interests and personalities, and a common desire to create something new. It is a space for us to explore our biggest passions, food and art. Combining Felipe’s experience with photography, Bia’s knowledge of gastronomy and Anna’s interest in creative direction and writing, we created a communication channel linking these different fields.

For the first issue of TRES Journal, we were drawn to Abstract Expressionism. Rather than just reproducing its style, our intention was to use the concepts behind this art movement as the premise for our creative process.</text>

I spend 7 years working as a researcher in Particle Physics, first as a PhD student and then as a postdoctoral researcher. During this time, I visited and worked in several laboratories throughout Europe and made connections with many colleagues.
At the same time, I spend these years feeling extremely anxious due to the lack of job security and the lack of stability was always at the back of my mind.
I started photographing the laboratories, the places that were familiar to me. Documenting my journey was a way to deal with the anxiousness and create permanent memories.
"Places of Particles" is the result of this process, the collection of all the buildings I briefly inhabited and pictures of items that used to be trivial but are now precious memories.</text>

                <text>The Humberston Fitties In Winter.

The plotland movement developed at the turn of the 20th century and gained pace in the interwar years as people escaped the cramped and dirty towns and cities of Britain for their own piece of paradise in the countryside or by the coast. These pieces of land were on the margins, hilly landscapes or fields thick with clay that were unprofitable to farm but could be rented out as plots where disused railways carriages or diy timber chalets could be constructed, adapted and used as a place of escape.

A change in planning laws in 1948 slowly brought the end of many of these plotlands through demolition, conversion to static caravan holiday parks or as they became permanent residences. A few still survive though, dotted around the country.

One of those precarious survivors is the Humberston Fitties, named after the local word for salt marsh, in North East Lincolnshire. This selection of photographs, the first in a longer term series, taken from 2015-2021, show the Fitties when the holidaymakers have left, the wind whips through the dunes and summer moves on.</text>
