<text>The photographs in the book, titled after Guy Debord's theory of “La Dérive”, reflect what an eye sees when it is not fully present, focusing on the witnessing of those who pass by rather than on living, and being caught in a situationist drift. Within the content that is designed as a personal retrospective, there is a selection from Serap Gecü’s early and recent analog photography series taken in different cities around the world. Inspired by Deleuze and Guattari's quote, 'What sees is not the eye, but the landscape,' the artist looks at herself through what she sees in the photographs, which are accompanied by short sentences in French, written by the artist herself. In 2023, the book has been exhibited at border_less Art Book Fair in Istanbul, Athens Art Book Fair, and Vienna Art Book Fair.</text>

<text>This move, immigration from the country due to political reasons, prompts a deeper examination of the cruel individual and collective past. Taking into account the changed circumstances of place and time, it inevitably aligns with the attempts to adapt to a new social order and integrate into the new space. Using various methods and practices of the medium, such as reenactment and a near documentary approach, this new series reveals global concerns about complicated histories, political regimes and personal traumas.

Documentary-based, the project depicts people of my generation, mostly artists and activists, gathering and fooling around UK streets and spaces, reflecting on their struggles in a period of involuntary migration. These newcomers are faced with social and financial vulnerabilities and vague career aspirations. Photographs, inspired by people's surroundings and duties, serve here not just as a document of modernity, but also as an alternative imaginative story linked with the long-term consequences of the war conflict.</text>

<text>My two years as a steward at the pitch gate of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium unfolded against the backdrop of some of the club’s most turbulent recent seasons. From the same gate each matchday, I watched Tottenham finish 17th in two consecutive seasons, narrowly escaping relegation on the final game in 2026. Yet those years were not defined solely by anxiety and disappointment. Amid the turmoil came an unforgettable moment: the long-awaited silverware — the Europa League trophy — followed by a pitch invasion and scenes of unrestrained celebration. What may appear to be an ordinary role offered me an uncommon perspective on football — not merely as a sport, but as a living tradition shaped by loyalty, memory, and hope.</text>

<text>In “Re Imagining Relations,” a limited-edition photo book, the timeless architectural beauty of mosques and synagogues in Paris and Istanbul is presented in a new light. The visual narrative merges the distinct spaces through the use of laser cuts and photographic layering, creating a seamless space that transcends religious and cultural divides. This book presents mosques and synagogues as intertwined spaces, reflecting the shared history and faith that these two communities hold. The book encourages readers to look beyond the physical and ideological boundaries that divide us, urging a dialogue of unity, the preservation of our shared humanity, and the fostering of empathy. Texts by Myra Goldberg, Leila Buck, and Annette Herskovits.</text>
